Whatever You Do at Work Colossians 3:23-24

My next step today is to:  A

Eliminate the dualistic worldview from my thinking

 B

View my work as a high calling from God and for His glory

 C

Memorize Colossians 3:23-24

Whatever you do, do it all for God’s glory! (Colossians 3:17) Questions for further study 1. Read Colossians 3:17, 22-24. What is true about work for a follower of Jesus in these verses according to Paul? How does this change the way a Christ-follower can view any job? All of life is all for Jesus! Every career is a high calling of God to glorify Him. Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. (Colossians 3:23–24 NIV84)

2. Read Genesis 1:27-31 and 2:15. What was God's original intention for work? How was it a part of His original good creation? How does this change the way any person can view any job?

Whatever you do, including your work, do it all out for God.

3. What are some of the cultural messages about work today? How do they line up with Scripture? 

Everything you do for God’s glory is part of His restoring work.
