SOWING AND GROWING
For early flowering sow in a greenhouse or indoors January-March at approx. 13-15°C (55-60°F) 3 seeds per 10cm (4") pot, 13mm (½") deep (Germination 10-20 days). Carefully acclimatise plants to outside conditions before planting out. Alternatively sow direct into finely raked, moist, warm, weed free soil where plants are to flower, 13mm (½") deep, in late April-May. Remove growing tips after 3-4 pairs of leaves have developed to promote more flowers. May also be sown in Sep-Oct in a cold frame or unheated greenhouse to over-winter. Plant out resulting young plants in April to produce earliest blooms.
HELPFUL HINT Colourful companions – attractive in arrangements with Gypsophila or Asparagus Fern. Quality Control: This seed has been carefully tested to ensure high germination. Prior to use, store in a dry cool place.
