Ageratum Blue Mink – Attractive plants producing large heads of lavender blue flowers Jun-Sep. Height 23cm (9"). Cineraria maritima – attractive plants with glowing silver foliage. Height 15-20cm (6-8").
HOW TO GROW Prepare separate trays or pots for each variety, in the greenhouse or on the windowsill using a good quality, moist compost. Level off and firm the compost prior to sowing thinly and evenly on the surface. Do not cover the seeds of Ageratum, lmpatiens or Lobelia as light assists germination. Cover the seeds of the others with 3mm (1⁄8") compost. Stand containers in water until the surface is moist and place in a polythene bag to conserve moisture.Maintain approx.15-20°C (60-68°F) until germination occurs and 15°C thereafter. When the leaves are large enough to handle, transplant seedlings into further trays spacing them 5cm (2") apart and grow on in good light. Acclimatise the plants carefully prior to planting out at a distance of 15-23cm (6-9") in containers.
HELPFUL HINT
Remove fading blooms to encourage further flowering. Quality Control: This seed has been carefully tested to ensure high germination. Prior to use, store in a dry cool place.
Impatiens (Busy Lizzie) Mix – bushy plants with a host of flower colours. Height 23cm (9"). Lobelia Sapphire – Deep blue flowers with white eye, flowers Jun-Sep. Trailing. Tagetes Lemon Gem – bushy plants which become covered in small, lemon yellow flowers Jun-Sep. Height 18cm (7").
