A former amateur boxer, Carl Krauser returns to the Panthers for his senior season. Krauser decided to return to Pitt for his final season after experiencing the NBA Draft process this summer. An experienced scorer, leader and clutch player at point guard, Krauser is a twotime consensus All-District and All-Big East honoree. He also earned the 2003-04 Big East Most Improved Player award. Krauser is a competitive, aggressive, hard-working and passionate player who gives all-out effort. His one goal on the basketball court is to win. That passion for winning motivates Krauser, who last year led Pitt in scoring (16.0 ppg) and assists (170). His trademark is the crossing of the arms in the form of an “X,” symbolizing his affection for his native Bronx.
