SOWING AND GROWING
We recommend sowing in broad rows liberally, but not too thickly, into finely raked, firmed, moist soil or compost at a depth of 13mm (½"). Space further rows about 30cm (12") apart. No thinning should be necessary. Cut when leaves are suitable size. Water freely during periods of dry weather. For pots, sow liberally across the surface, covering lightly with compost. Can be sown earlier and later in the season with cloche protection.
