Aug. 13, 2010 The Genesis 4.6 returns this year with 10 extra horses added to the awardwinning Tau ® V8 engine for a total of 385 horsepower and more standard features from last year’s Technology package. The 10 additional horsepower were added as a running change in 2010 model year and propel the Genesis 4.6 from zero to 60 miles per hour in 5.3 seconds (2010 5.7 seconds). The Tau still produces more horsepower and torque than the powerplants found in the Lexus GS460 and Audi A8. It also delivers more horsepower per liter than any of these V8 competitors. Genesis 4.6 continues to offer buyers the option to use premium or regular fuel. The Tau is rated at 378 horsepower on regular fuel and 385 horsepower on premium fuel and has been one of Ward’s Auto’s 10 best engines for two consecutive years.
