2014 KAHIAU TOURNAMENT FUNDRAISER WHAT IS KAHIAU: A TENNIS FOUNDATION? The mission of Kahiau: A Tennis Foundation is to promote the growth of tennis in Hawaii to youth, adults and special populations. This dovetails with the mission of the United States Tennis Association Hawaii Pacific Section (USTA HPS), which is to promote and develop the growth of tennis in the Hawaii Pacific Section. Kahiau supports youth, adult and special populations by helping to fund programs conducted by the USTA Hawaii Pacific Section as well as other tennis organizations in the community. You are invited to be a part of the 2014 Kahiau Tennis Tournament Fundraiser. This exclusive event will raise much needed funds for Kahiau: A Tennis Foundation. Each dollar raised strengthens the game of tennis in Hawaii and will go a long way in enriching the lives of many players statewide. We would love to see you at this year’s event as it is going to be an awesome, fun day, playing with some of the finest tennis players in Hawaii. EVENT DETAILS WHERE:

TOURNAMENT RULES:
World Team Tennis format. Four games, no-ad scoring. Round Robin.
Each team will be assigned a local celebrity player: Dennis Lajola,
Ikaika Jobe, and Hendrick Bode to name a few.

On- site banner placement. Each sponsor is allowed up to (2) banners per team. Please arrange banner handoff with Ryan Trujillo, Director of Marketing and Communications - USTA Hawaii Pacific ([email protected])
Suggested NTRP player rating of 3.5 or higher Teams will compete in a round robin format. Each match will have one Men’s Doubles, one Women’s Doubles, and one Mixed Doubles team. The local celebrity pro will act as coach of the team.
Complimentary food and beverages will be available on site. Name mention/ logo placement in article recap of tournament which will be posted on USTA website and social media.
