The availability of the funds for 2014/2015 is still to be determined. Financial Aid will release the final award amounts in mid to late April; the Scholarship Committee will grant scholarships based on this finalized data. est. 2 @ $5,000 Carson Starkey Memorial Scholarship Julia and Scott Starkey established this scholarship in memory of their son Carson, an architectural engineering student who passed away in 2008. Carson’s parents intend for his memory to live on in two scholarships: one focused on need and one focused on merit.

Jim and Barbara Martin established this scholarship in memory of their son, Douglas James Martin – the CAED’s first specialized computer technician. This award is given to the student showing special ability and excellence in computer applications and skills related to architecture and environmental design. Dr. Glenn G. McRae Internship This award is a paid internship, and is offered to rekindle the caring spirit so aptly demonstrated by Dr. McRae during his counseling career at Cal Poly and his assignment to work with CAED students. The recipient of this internship will provide 75 hours of work during the 13/14 academic year to the CAED, under the direction of the Dean’s Office. Work duties will include supporting EDES 101.
Herbert E. Collins Scholarship
! 4th or 5th year standing in 13/14 academic year ! Demonstrated interest in Cal Poly and multi-cultural student activities, competence in graphics and basic design ! The top 3-4 candidates may be asked to attend interviews to aid the selection process ! Available to work 75 hours as an intern on-campus during the 13/14 academic year ! All majors in the CAED
