PICK UP TIMES Please do your best to be prompt. Cubbies: 7:45pm Sparks & T&T: 8:00pm GENERAL INFORMATION Bible Memorization Standards: o No more than two helps. A “help” is 1-4 words or a gesture to jog a child’s memory. o The verse reference must be included. o All verses in a section must be recited at once, with no studying in between. o Handbooks may only be signed by a non-parent Awana leader.
Sign In/Out: Parents, must sign children in and out every night. Sign in is in the gym, sign out from club rooms.
Shoes: Please have your children wear non-marking, close-toed shoes to protect our floors and their toes!
Cypress Gym: Cypress Church youth ministries use the gym for activities after AWANA does. For this reason, we ask AWANA families to stay out of the gym after club so that none of our clubbers are injured.
Participate! Please mark your calendars for our special events (found in red on calendar).
Book cost: One student handbook each year is included with registration. If a clubber starts and finishes a complete book during the AWANA year (Sep-May) and is ready to move on, each additional book is $10. Please pay via cash/check at the information table in the gym.
Uniform Cost: $15. The uniform is not included in the registration but if you would like to purchase one, please do so in our online registration or via cash/check at the information table in the gym.
Bring a Friend Nights: We encourage students to bring their friends to AWANA. Parent support via communication with parents and/or offering rides is very helpful.
Community Service: We offer community service hours to youth who are interested in volunteering in Awana. If you are interested, please email Kylie at [email protected] to get started.
