2016 Harvest DP Program Frontier Cooperative is offering a Delayed Pricing (DP) program for corn and soybeans during the 2016 Harvest. There is a minimum DP charge for bushels that are put on Delayed Price. Corn minimum is 12¢ from date of delivery thru 12/31/16 Soybean minimum is 15¢ from date of delivery thru 12/31/16 DP bushels go from the flat fee, to a daily fee beginning January 1, 2017 Daily fee for Corn on DP beginning 01/01/17 is $.00145/bu/day Daily fee for Soybeans on DP beginning 01/01/17 is $.00183/bu/day Any corn on a DP contract will be shrunk/dried to 15% moisture. DP bushels may be priced at the posted, spot cash bid during normal trading hours. The final pricing date for DP contracts will be October 31, 2017. Remaining, unpriced DP bushels will be priced at 1:10pm on 10/31/17.
Open Storage is available for corn, and soybeans. As with DP, there is a flat minimum fee of 12¢ for corn, and 15¢ for soybeans, thru December 31st, then a per bushel, per day, fee beginning January 1st. Daily storage rate for Corn beginning 01/01/17 is $.00165/bushel/day Daily storage rate for Soybeans beginning 01/01/17 is $.00192/bushel/day Any corn in Open Storage is shrunk/dried to 14% moisture. To ensure accuracy, specify when delivering corn if it is for Open Storage, DP, or Contract. Contracts that are written for delivery in deferred positions must be delivered during the delivery period it is sold for. These contracts, as well as basis contracts may not be used to price bushels on DP, or Open Storage.
