Players of the Week - Sept. 19 Player of the Week - AMAYA ROUSSEAU , Radford, MB, Soph. (Raleigh, N.C.) Rousseau finished the weekend with 20 kills, a .410 hitting percentage, seven block assists and one solo block. The sophomore matched a career-high with 11 kills in a 3-1 loss to Virginia Tech, and finished with a .364 attacking percentage. She collected a career-high six block assists against the Hokies. Defensive Player of the Week - JORDAN HEFNER, High Point, MB, Soph. (Orange City, Fla.) Hefner led the High Point defense and racked up 2.62 blocks per set as the Panthers won the Black & Gold Invitational. The sophomore set a career high with seven blocks against Charlotte before upping her best mark to eight in the win over Wake Forest. The sophomore rounded out the weekend with five blocks in the victory over Wofford. The Come Ready Nutrition Freshman of the Week - ANNA GRAGG, Liberty, MB, Fr. (Missoula, Mont.) Gragg had another strong week at the net for the Lady Flames, where she averaged 1.1 blocks per set. She also hit .525 on offense and had 2.30 kills per set. On Friday against Morgan State, Gragg posted two block assists in a 3-0 sweep, as the Lady Flames held the Bears to a .060 hitting percentage. Gragg then added two block assists in a 3-0 sweep of Middle Tennessee on Saturday.

2016 Big South Volleyball CAMPBELL LONI KREUN led Campbell this past week of play with 36 kills and a .248 hitting percentage. SUMMER SCHUITEMA paced the team with 72 assists while Libero KAYLA SCHANBACK posted 52 digs to lead the team. Campbell welcomes North Carolina A&T Tuesday evening before beginning conference play on the weekend. CHARLESTON SOUTHERN Charleston Southern went 2-3 on the week with a pair of wins against Savannah State. The Buccaneers topped the Lady Tigers this past Tuesday in Savannah and on Friday afternoon at the Bulldog Invitational. CSU fell to Austin Peay, Elon and The Citadel to wrap up the weekend. Sophomore libero MADISON MARTIN averaged 5.11 digs per set overall on the week and was named to the Bulldog Invitational All-Tournament Team. Junior middle blocker KYLIE KLEIN finished the week with 1.44 blocks per set. GARDNER-WEBB Gardner-Webb posted a 2-2 record in perhaps its most challenging week of the season thus far. The Runnin’ Bulldogs registered a win over North Carolina A&T early in the week before they headed to South Carolina’s Gamecock Invitational over the weekend. There, they defeated Davidson in a five-set match but fell to William & Mary and undefeated host South Carolina. Sophomore KEIRA MOORE put together a career performance against North Carolina A&T with 13 kills and a .667 hitting percentage on 18 swings. Moore added four blocks and a .417 clip in the win over Davidson. TAYLOR LILLARD scooped up All-Tournament honors with 27 kills over the course of the weekend. HIGH POINT The Panthers enter Big South play after a successful non-conference season that produced two tournament wins and two other second-place finishes. Preseason All-Big South selections HALEY BARNES and MOLLY LIVINGSTON both earned three All-Tournament nods in non-conference play as KATIE TYLMAN garnered two. High Point opens Big South play at Radford in a matchup of the league’s top-2 offensive teams. LIBERTY Liberty finished as runner-up at the VCU Invitational, with SYDNEY MORRIS and ANNA GRAGG being named to the All-Tournament Team. The Lady Flames posted a season-high 17 blocks at VCU on Saturday while Gragg recorded her first career 10-kill match. PRESBYTERIAN COLLEGE Presbyterian wrapped up its season-opening 13-match road trip this past weekend where the team fell to East Tennessee State, Georgia Southern, and Alabama. SAMANTHA DEL TORO has posted double-digit kills in five of the past six matches while SARA ROGERS had 45 assists against Alabama, which marked the sixth match of her career she has posted over 40. RADFORD Radford opened Friday’s Hokie Invitational with its seventh 3-0 sweep of the season, defeating Ohio and improving to 4-0 on neutral courts. Radford fell to NRV rival Virginia Tech 3-1. The Highlanders finished with 87 kills, averaging 12.4 per set in the two matches. MADDIE PALMER picked up her eighth double-double with 15 kills and 19 digs against the Hokies. MALLORY MCKNIGHT finished the weekend with 24 kills and AMAYA ROUSSEAU with 20. UNC ASHEVILLE UNC Asheville went 0-3 on the weekend at the UCF Tournament where the squad fell to Central Florida, Central Michigan, and Central Arkansas. In their match against UCF, the Bulldog offense was led by ANSLEY ROOKS and MADISON VAUGHN with nine kills each. In its evening match against Central Michigan, CARA GUTHRIE led the team with eight. WINTHROP Winthrop went 2-2 last week, evening its overall record at 7-7. At the WVU Invitational, freshman KELSEY SCHROLL was named to the All-Tournament Team. The Eagles open conference play on Tuesday at home against Gardner-Webb.

Players of the Week - Sept. 19 Player of the Week - AMAYA ROUSSEAU , Radford, MB, Soph. (Raleigh, N.C.) Rousseau finished the weekend with 20 kills, a .410 hitting percentage, seven block assists and one solo block. The sophomore matched a career-high with 11 kills in a 3-1 loss to Virginia Tech, and finished with a .364 attacking percentage. She collected a career-high six block assists against the Hokies. Defensive Player of the Week - JORDAN HEFNER, High Point, MB, Soph. (Orange City, Fla.) Hefner led the High Point defense and racked up 2.62 blocks per set as the Panthers won the Black & Gold Invitational. The sophomore set a career high with seven blocks against Charlotte before upping her best mark to eight in the win over Wake Forest. The sophomore rounded out the weekend with five blocks in the victory over Wofford. The Come Ready Nutrition Freshman of the Week - ANNA GRAGG, Liberty, MB, Fr. (Missoula, Mont.) Gragg had another strong week at the net for the Lady Flames, where she averaged 1.1 blocks per set. She also hit .525 on offense and had 2.30 kills per set. On Friday against Morgan State, Gragg posted two block assists in a 3-0 sweep, as the Lady Flames held the Bears to a .060 hitting percentage. Gragg then added two block assists in a 3-0 sweep of Middle Tennessee on Saturday.

2016 Big South Volleyball CAMPBELL LONI KREUN led Campbell this past week of play with 36 kills and a .248 hitting percentage. SUMMER SCHUITEMA paced the team with 72 assists while Libero KAYLA SCHANBACK posted 52 digs to lead the team. Campbell welcomes North Carolina A&T Tuesday evening before beginning conference play on the weekend. CHARLESTON SOUTHERN Charleston Southern went 2-3 on the week with a pair of wins against Savannah State. The Buccaneers topped the Lady Tigers this past Tuesday in Savannah and on Friday afternoon at the Bulldog Invitational. CSU fell to Austin Peay, Elon and The Citadel to wrap up the weekend. Sophomore libero MADISON MARTIN averaged 5.11 digs per set overall on the week and was named to the Bulldog Invitational All-Tournament Team. Junior middle blocker KYLIE KLEIN finished the week with 1.44 blocks per set. GARDNER-WEBB Gardner-Webb posted a 2-2 record in perhaps its most challenging week of the season thus far. The Runnin’ Bulldogs registered a win over North Carolina A&T early in the week before they headed to South Carolina’s Gamecock Invitational over the weekend. There, they defeated Davidson in a five-set match but fell to William & Mary and undefeated host South Carolina. Sophomore KEIRA MOORE put together a career performance against North Carolina A&T with 13 kills and a .667 hitting percentage on 18 swings. HIGH POINT The Panthers enter Big South play after a successful non-conference season that produced two tournament wins and two other second-place finishes. Preseason All-Big South selections HALEY BARNES and MOLLY LIVINGSTON both earned three All-Tournament nods in non-conference play as KATIE TYLMAN garnered two. High Point opens Big South play at Radford in a matchup of the league’s top-2 offensive teams. LIBERTY Liberty finished as runner-up at the VCU Invitational, with SYDNEY MORRIS and ANNA GRAGG being named to the All-Tournament Team. The Lady Flames posted a season-high 17 blocks at VCU on Saturday while Gragg recorded her first career 10-kill match. PRESBYTERIAN COLLEGE Presbyterian wrapped up its season-opening 13-match road trip this past weekend where the team fell to East Tennessee State, Georgia Southern, and Alabama. SAMANTHA DEL TORO has posted double-digit kills in five of the past six matches while SARA ROGERS had 45 assists against Alabama, which marked the sixth match of her career she has posted over 40. RADFORD Radford opened Friday’s Hokie Invitational with its seventh 3-0 sweep of the season, defeating Ohio and improving to 4-0 on neutral courts. Radford fell to NRV rival Virginia Tech 3-1. The Highlanders finished with 87 kills, averaging 12.4 per set in the two matches. MADDIE PALMER picked up her eighth double-double with 15 kills and 19 digs against the Hokies. MALLORY MCKNIGHT finished the weekend with 24 kills and AMAYA ROUSSEAU with 20. UNC ASHEVILLE UNC Asheville went 0-3 on the weekend at the UCF Tournament where the squad fell to Central Florida, Central Michigan, and Central Arkansas. In their match against UCF, the Bulldog offense was led by ANSLEY ROOKS and MADISON VAUGHN with nine kills each. In its evening match against Central Michigan, CARA GUTHRIE led the team with eight. WINTHROP Winthrop went 2-2 last week, evening its overall record at 7-7. At the WVU Invitational, freshman KELSEY SCHROLL was named to the All-Tournament Team. The Eagles open conference play on Tuesday at home against Gardner-Webb.
