Players of the Week - Oct. 3 Player of the Week - LEAH CLAYTON, Liberty, OH, Fr. (Danville, Va.) Clayton made a tremendous impact during Liberty’s 1-1 week, leading the Lady Flames with 3.7 kills per set, adding 2.40 digs per set and 0.5 blocks per set. Against Radford she had 19 kills, 12 digs, one ace and one block. Clayton followed up that match at UNC Asheville where she collected 18 kills, 11 digs, one ace and four block assists. Defensive Player of the Week - MIKAYLA REGISTER, Presbyterian, DS/L, Sr. (Woodruff, S.C.) Register posted a career-high 27 digs in each of the matches played this past week and averaged 6.75 per set. The matches marked the 13th and 14th times this season she has recorded double-digit digs and the third and fourth times she has posted over 20. Register also posted an impressive 14 digs in the 25-23 second set win against Gardner-Webb. The Come Ready Nutrition Freshman of the Week - ERIN EULITZ, Presbyterian, OH, Fr. (Joliet, Ill.) Eulitz recorded back-to-back double-doubles, the first of her career coming in a 17-kill, 20-dig effort against USC Upstate. She followed it up with 10 kills and 14 digs at Gardner-Webb. Her five kills in the second set against USC Upstate were critical in the 25-20 win, as was her six in the 25-18 first set victory against Gardner-Webb.

2016 Big South Volleyball CAMPBELL Campbell split the weekend in conference play where it dropped to Charleston Southern, 3-2 and defeated Winthrop, 3-0. In the match against Winthrop, LONI KREUN led the team with 12 kills and a .357 hitting percentage along with JENNY TAIT, who collected six kills and a .400 hitting percentage. Against Charleston Southern, Kreun notched 14 kills and 11 digs and JESSICA STOCKING put down 11 kills and collected 19 digs. CHARLESTON SOUTHERN Charleston Southern improved to 3-0 in Big South Conference play this past week as the Buccaneers topped Campbell in a five-set thriller. Redshirt senior CONNOR MALONE saved her best of the match for the fifth set with four kills, including the final two points for the Bucs in the 15-13 win. Malone finished with 13 kills, eight digs, and five blocks, while leading CSU with a .324 hitting percentage. ADDISON KADERLI (15 kills, 17 digs), HANNAH WESTERN (11 kills, 11 digs) and RACHEL SMITH (41 assists, 15 digs) all had double-doubles for CSU in the win. GARDNER-WEBB Gardner-Webb dropped its one game this past weekend to Presbyterian in three sets. AMANDA SAHM led the team with 24 assists, TINSLEY FAIN added 11 helpers and EMMA MILSTEAD registered 19 digs. The Runnin’ Bulldogs had 5.0 team blocks in the match, with KIERA MOORE leading the way with two solo blocks and a pair of block assists. HIGH POINT Since dropping the second set to Liberty on Sept. 23, High Point has won eight straight sets including backto-back sweeps over UNC Asheville and Winthrop. Sophomore KATIE TYLMAN has posted at least 13 kills and a .400 attack percentage in the last three matches. Tylman and sophomore MOLLY LIVINGSTON are the only teammates to both rank in the top eight in the league in attack percentage. Junior HALEY BARNES is second in the conference with 3.41 kills per set on the year. LIBERTY On Tuesday against Radford, for the first time in the program’s rally-scoring history, four Lady Flames posted six or more blocks. Liberty’s 3-2 win at UNC Asheville on Friday was the first time the Lady Flames faced a 2-0 deficit in a win since Oct. 11, 2014 against High Point. In the win against UNC Asheville, LEAH CLAYTON totaled 18 kills, 11 digs and four blocks for Liberty. SIRENA VORSTER scored nine kills at a .529 pace, while KAINAH WILLIAMS posted five blocks. PRESBYTERIAN COLLEGE SARA ROGERS’ 49 assists against USC Upstate tied her career-high and marked the eighth match of her career she has posted over 40. Against Gardner-Webb, four Blue Hose posted double-digit kills, marking the first time since Sept. 26, 2014, a span of 60 matches, PC has accomplished the feat. SIERRA DAVIS led the effort with 14 kills, followed by MARINA SHAMLEY with her career-high 11 kills. SAMANTHA DEL TORO and ERIN EULITZ posted 10 kills apiece. RADFORD Radford went 2-0 on the week in Big South play, improving to 5-0 on the season in league play. MADDIE PALMER collected 31 kills in the two matches, giving her 72 kills in Big South play. Palmer collected two double-doubles on the week, giving her 11 on the season and 27 in her career. In a 3-1 win over UNC Asheville, Radford placed a season-high five players in double-figure kills and digs. In the win, HALEY KLEESPIES assisted on 60 kills for her second 60-plus assist performance of her career UNC ASHEVILLE UNC Asheville dropped both its matches this past weekend against Liberty and Radford. CARA GUTHRIE had a season-best 22 kills on 50 attempts to lead the Bulldog offense against Liberty. Seniors MADISON VAUGHN and SHELBY ERICKSON also joined Guthrie in double-digit kills with 11 and 10, respectively. In the loss against Radford, Vaughn and Guthrie led the team with 13 kills apiece. Setters CARTER KENNEDY (25) and KAILEY HACKETT (18) combined for 43 assists in the four-set match. WINTHROP Winthrop dropped both of its conference matches this past weekend, falling in three sets to Campbell and High Point. Against Campbell, KEAUPONO FEY led the Eagles with 10 kills while SYDNEY GUNTER added nine in the loss. Against High Point, EMMA WEAKLAND led the Eagles with 10 kills and a .421 attack percentage. SIANI YAMAGUCHI finished with a team-high 16 assists and seven digs.

Players of the Week - Oct. 3 Player of the Week - LEAH CLAYTON, Liberty, OH, Fr. (Danville, Va.) Clayton made a tremendous impact during Liberty’s 1-1 week, leading the Lady Flames with 3.7 kills per set, adding 2.40 digs per set and 0.5 blocks per set. Against Radford she had 19 kills, 12 digs, one ace and one block. Clayton followed up that match at UNC Asheville where she collected 18 kills, 11 digs, one ace and four block assists. Defensive Player of the Week - MIKAYLA REGISTER, Presbyterian, DS/L, Sr. (Woodruff, S.C.) Register posted a career-high 27 digs in each of the matches played this past week and averaged 6.75 per set. The matches marked the 13th and 14th times this season she has recorded double-digit digs and the third and fourth times she has posted over 20. Register also posted an impressive 14 digs in the 25-23 second set win against Gardner-Webb. The Come Ready Nutrition Freshman of the Week - ERIN EULITZ, Presbyterian, OH, Fr. (Joliet, Ill.) Eulitz recorded back-to-back double-doubles, the first of her career coming in a 17-kill, 20-dig effort against USC Upstate. She followed it up with 10 kills and 14 digs at Gardner-Webb. Her five kills in the second set against USC Upstate were critical in the 25-20 win, as was her six in the 25-18 first set victory against Gardner-Webb.

2016 Big South Volleyball CAMPBELL Campbell split the weekend in conference play where it dropped to Charleston Southern, 3-2 and defeated Winthrop, 3-0. In the match against Winthrop, LONI KREUN led the team with 12 kills and a .357 hitting percentage along with JENNY TAIT, who collected six kills and a .400 hitting percentage. Against Charleston Southern, Kreun notched 14 kills and 11 digs and JESSICA STOCKING put down 11 kills and collected 19 digs. CHARLESTON SOUTHERN Charleston Southern improved to 3-0 in Big South Conference play this past week as the Buccaneers topped Campbell in a five-set thriller. Redshirt senior CONNOR MALONE saved her best of the match for the fifth set with four kills, including the final two points for the Bucs in the 15-13 win. Malone finished with 13 kills, eight digs, and five blocks, while leading CSU with a .324 hitting percentage. ADDISON KADERLI (15 kills, 17 digs), HANNAH WESTERN (11 kills, 11 digs) and RACHEL SMITH (41 assists, 15 digs) all had double-doubles for CSU in the win. GARDNER-WEBB Gardner-Webb dropped its one game this past weekend to Presbyterian in three sets. AMANDA SAHM led the team with 24 assists, TINSLEY FAIN added 11 helpers and EMMA MILSTEAD registered 19 digs. The Runnin’ Bulldogs had 5.0 team blocks in the match, with KIERA MOORE leading the way with two solo blocks and a pair of block assists. HIGH POINT Since dropping the second set to Liberty on Sept. 23, High Point has won eight straight sets including backto-back sweeps over UNC Asheville and Winthrop. Sophomore KATIE TYLMAN has posted at least 13 kills and a .400 attack percentage in the last three matches. Tylman and sophomore MOLLY LIVINGSTON are the only teammates to both rank in the top eight in the league in attack percentage. Junior HALEY BARNES is second in the conference with 3.41 kills per set on the year. LIBERTY On Tuesday against Radford, for the first time in the program’s rally-scoring history, four Lady Flames posted six or more blocks. Liberty’s 3-2 win at UNC Asheville on Friday was the first time the Lady Flames faced a 2-0 deficit in a win since Oct. 11, 2014 against High Point. In the win against UNC Asheville, LEAH CLAYTON totaled 18 kills, 11 digs and four blocks for Liberty. SIRENA VORSTER scored nine kills at a .529 pace, while KAINAH WILLIAMS posted five blocks. PRESBYTERIAN COLLEGE SARA ROGERS’ 49 assists against USC Upstate tied her career-high and marked the eighth match of her career she has posted over 40. Against Gardner-Webb, four Blue Hose posted double-digit kills, marking the first time since Sept. 26, 2014, a span of 60 matches, PC has accomplished the feat. SIERRA DAVIS led the effort with 14 kills, followed by MARINA SHAMLEY with her career-high 11 kills. SAMANTHA DEL TORO and ERIN EULITZ posted 10 kills apiece. RADFORD Radford went 2-0 on the week in Big South play, improving to 5-0 on the season in league play. MADDIE PALMER collected 31 kills in the two matches, giving her 72 kills in Big South play. Palmer collected two double-doubles on the week, giving her 11 on the season and 27 in her career. In a 3-1 win over UNC Asheville, Radford placed a season-high five players in double-figure kills and digs. In the win, HALEY KLEESPIES assisted on 60 kills for her second 60-plus assist performance of her career UNC ASHEVILLE UNC Asheville dropped both its matches this past weekend against Liberty and Radford. CARA GUTHRIE had a season-best 22 kills on 50 attempts to lead the Bulldog offense against Liberty. Seniors MADISON VAUGHN and SHELBY ERICKSON also joined Guthrie in double-digit kills with 11 and 10, respectively. In the loss against Radford, Vaughn and Guthrie led the team with 13 kills apiece. Setters CARTER KENNEDY (25) and KAILEY HACKETT (18) combined for 43 assists in the four-set match. WINTHROP Winthrop dropped both of its conference matches this past weekend, falling in three sets to Campbell and High Point. Against Campbell, KEAUPONO FEY led the Eagles with 10 kills while SYDNEY GUNTER added nine in the loss. Against High Point, EMMA WEAKLAND led the Eagles with 10 kills and a .421 attack percentage. SIANI YAMAGUCHI finished with a team-high 16 assists and seven digs.
