2017 HISPANIC EDUCATION FAIR SCHOLARSHIP We are excited to see the opportunities the Lord is opening for you! As Baptist churches we want to encourage your pursuit of education. This scholarship is possible thanks to the efforts of Texas Baptists and donations of many who believe in you.

GUIDELINES 1. Scholarship is intended only for college/university tuition and is open to graduating high school seniors (2017 Class) committed to attend an accredited college the Fall of 2017 AND current undergraduate students at an accredited college. The award monies in the amount of $1,000 dollars per recipient will be sent directly to the college/university where the applicant enrolls in August 2017. 2. Applicant must submit this completed application and his or her official high school or college transcript in person at 8:30 AM on Saturday, June 24th at the location below. Life Church of San Antonio 2483 W. Southcross Blvd. San Antonio, TX 78211 LATE OR INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. 3. Applicant must attend the “Educate Texas” Hispanic Education Fair held at the address above on Saturday, June 24th from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM. There will be a system in place to ensure attendance. 4. Applicant must participate of all three workshop sessions offered for college students on Saturday, June 24th at the “Educate Texas” Hispanic Education Fair. There will be a system in place to ensure every applicant actively participates of these sessions. 5. Scholarship finalists will be notified that they’ve been chosen as finalists at 12:30 PM on June 24th at the “Educate Texas” Hispanic Education Fair. If chosen as a finalist, the applicant must show proof, in person, that he or she attended the three workshop sessions for college students that day in order to officially be awarded the scholarship. 6. Applicants that are awarded a scholarship will be announced as a recipient during the Closing General Session of the June 24th “Educate Texas” Hispanic Education Fair. Applicant must be present at the Closing General Session in order to receive the scholarship. 8.
