Joshua Tree Newsletter March 17, 2017 Ms. Brittany & Ms. Jensine
[email protected] Note from the Teacher We had a great week back. We started off with our Country reports. It amazing all the hard work they all put in to them! Everyone should be proud! Ms. Sylvia visited us Monday afternoon to teach an ecology lesson on the drink water throughout the world. She utilized the world rug in our circle and had water bottles to represent how much each person on each continent would receive in one day. The students were shocked to see how little and dirty Africa’s portion was in its water bottle. Tuesday Ruit we had a lesson on contractions. The students learned how we can take two words and contraction them into one.
Later that afternoon Ms. Lucy visited. She prepared a lesson on the endangered panda. They discussed the reasons the panda had become endanger and what it needs to survive. Then the students created their own environment for a mini panda. Friday we had great day experiencing all the different cultures of the world. What great fun exploring!
