Notes from Margaret It seems like maybe spring is around the corner! What a winter! Aren’t we all glad to get out of doors without freezing! As you read this, I will have had the opportunity to go to Cornell University in Ithaca New York to see my older granddaughter’s senior fashion show. She had to design and construct at least a 10 garment collection and present it on the runway. She had chosen athletic wear complete with combate boots?! She is a runner and has taken to hiking so this was her inspiration. I’ll let you know how it went. Something new!! Now you can download embroidery designs from your home. Just go to our website – sewingstudionormal.com – click on the pink butterfly in the upper left hand corner and you are at embroidery on line and ready to choose a special design of your choice. Neat!! Also, Bernina has produced a special edition of the 350 sewing machine. Choose either the butterfly design, in rust and oranges, or the peacock feathers, in pinks and blues. The machines come with whole shank feet, the walking foot, free motion foot, and the usual standard feet. A slide on tray is also included. Only 3 left. Donna is keeping our website up to date, so check often for pictures of new additions and important information. Class schedules and photos are included.
