Fine Motor: Fish Bowl For this activity you will need: construction paper, crayons/markers, scissors, glue, green yarn or tissue paper, and sand. This activity is designed to develop and promote fine motor and visual motor skills, eyehand coordination, motor control skills, scissors grasp and cutting skills, functional grasp, and bilateral hand use. 1. Print the fish bowl and fish template. 2. Ask the child to color the images. 3. Instruct the child to cut out the fish bowl and fish images. If the child has difficulties cutting, we recommend providing thicker lines/boundaries. For the fish image, you can outline the picture/draw a circle or a square around to grade down. 4. Glue the fish bowl on a piece of construction paper. 5. Use the sand and instruct the child to glue it at the bottom of the bowl. 6. Have the child glue the fish in the bowl. 7. Using the string of yarn of pieces of tissue paper, create the seaweed and glue into bowl.
