9th December 2016 St. Mary’s Catholic Primary School, Woodbridge Road, Ipswich, IP4 4EU http://www.stmaryscatholicprimaryipswich.com/

Welcome to this week’s newsletter. Admission to Primary School September 2017 Suffolk County Council would like to remind all parents with a child born between 1st September 2012 and 31st August 2013 to complete an application form for full-time admission to primary school before the closing date of 15th January 2017. Pupils are not allocated a school place automatically. All parents/carers must apply for a place, even if your child is already attending a nursery class in an infant or primary school or pre-school next to a school site. It is recommended to apply online at www.suffolk.gov.uk/admissions If you are applying for a place at St Mary’s a SIF (supplementary information form) is required and should be sent direct to St Mary’s by 15th January 2017. The SIF can be found on the Suffolk County Council website or St Mary’s Catholic Primary School website.

Access to playground Our playground is also an outside classroom which is used for our sporting activities. If there is a club or lesson taking place when you arrive at school, could I please ask you to walk around the playing areas. Many thanks. Jill Sandvig

Reptiles visit to school On Monday Year 4 welcomed Mr Price from a local zoo into their class and had great fun learning all about his incredible animals.
