Studley High School is a successful, semi-rural comprehensive with 700 pupils. We are looking for an enthusiastic, resilient and hardworking person to lead on the development of financial systems and processes at SHS. This role arises due to internal restructuring at Studley High School. The post offers the right person the opportunity to contribute fully to the financial direction of the organisation as well as the wider life of the academy. Whilst the post requires someone with significant experience there is also the potential to grow and develop the role as we look to bring all financial processes into the school. The role:
To liaise with the Headteacher to ensure compliant management of all financial elements of budgets and income, ensuring the school is fully prepared to meet Ofsted/Audit and EFA financial criteria and deadlines. Applicants will need to demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to multi task. Applicants must have excellent literacy and numeracy skills. Qualifications - Certificate of School Business Management (CMBS) or AAT, CIMA, ACCA (Part or Fully Qualified) or equivalent required in conjunction with financial management experience. Experience in an Educational Setting is desirable.
