AMERICAN COLLEGIATE HOCKEY ASSOCIATION
MEN’S DIVISION 1 (57 teams in 2013-14) FEE: $1,600 Player Requirements: 1. Must be enrolled in a Baccalaureate program. 2. Full-time student-athletes (a minimum of 12 credits). 3. Must successfully complete nine credits per semester. 4. Must successfully complete 24 semester hours per year. 5. Limited to four years of eligibility.
MEN’S DIVISION 2 (172 teams in 2013-14) FEE: $1,400 Player Requirements: 1. Must be degree seeking. 2. Must enroll in and complete a minimum: • Nine credits per semester for undergraduate students. • Six credits per semester for graduate students. 3. Limited to five years of eligibility.

MEN’S DIVISION 3 (153 teams in 2013-14) FEE: $1,350 Player Requirements: 1. Must be degree seeking. 2. Must enroll in and complete a minimum: • Nine credits per semester for undergraduate students. • Six credits per semester for graduate students. 3. Limited to five years of eligibility.
WOMEN’S DIVISION 1 (20 teams in 2013-14) FEE: $1,350 Player Requirements: 1. Must be degree seeking. 2. The following minimums must be met to maintain eligibility: • Freshmen and sophomore students must enroll in at least 12 credits and pass nine credits per semester. • Junior and senior students must enroll in and pass nine credits per semester. • Graduate students must enroll in and pass six credits. 3. Eligibility is limited to five years.
WOMEN’S DIVISION 2 (16 teams in 2013-14) FEE: $1,150 Player Requirements: 1. The following minimums must be met to maintain eligibility: • All students must enroll in and pass six credits per semester. 2. Eligibility is limited to six years. Fee includes ACHA membership, AHCA membership and USA Hockey team and player membership.

THIS IS THE ACHA Now celebrating its 24th season of existence, the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) is an organization of over 415 college and university affiliated programs, which provides structure, regulates operations and promotes the quality of collegiate ice hockey. The ACHA’s primary mission is to support the growth and development of collegiate hockey programs nationwide. The ACHA identifies standards, which serve to unite and regulate teams at the collegiate level.

The ACHA emphasizes academic performance, institutional sanction, eligibility criteria, standards of play and opportunities for national competition. The ACHA promotes all aspects of collegiate hockey, stressing the personal development of individual athletes, as well as national recognition for member organizations.

MEN’S DIVISION 2
The ACHA includes Men’s Division 1, 2, and 3 and Women’s Division 1 and 2. National Rankings are posted monthly, with National Tournaments held for each division. In addition, the ACHA sponsors national awards for individual athletic performance and represents USA Hockey at the World University Games, held every two years.
FUNDRAISING OPPORTUNITIES
• All ACHA member teams must have a non-player coach at all games.
• A minimum GPA of 2.0 is required of all participating student-athletes.

NATIONAL UNIVERSITY TEAMS SELECT TEAMS 1. The 2014-15 Men’s Division 3 Select Team will depart in December for its 3rd tour of Europe and be lead by Head Coach, Mike Petrusma of Calvin College. Opponents from Germany, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Croatia and Slovakia are on the schedule. 2. In December 2013, the Men’s Division 2 Select Team embarked on its 4th tour of Europe, going 5-1 during stops in Germany, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Croatia and Slovakia.

Men’s teams have participated in Poland (2001), Italy (2003, 2007), Austria (2005), China (2009), Turkey (2011) and Italy (2013) while the women have competed in both Turkey (2011) and Italy (2013), winning a bronze medal. The 2015 World University Games will be hosted in Grenada, Spain in February.
