Important for accounts with large # of users Add project roles: Admin, Editor, User Support concept of “project jailed” user Enable/disable Public Lib & Personal Workspaces
• Improve usability of project sharing – Still confusing for many users how to share – Provide easy way to share items with all users on account
• Provide filter to only show my content in projects – Hard to find my content when many users on one project
• GOAL: Minimal usability impact while adding richer UAC
I 4
User Level Permission Settings • Account Administrator (Default: No) – Is user an account admin? Skytap allows more than 1 admin – Admin has full permissions on account including • Manage users, projects & user-level quotas • View & manage all account objects • Audit trail & usage reporting
• Public Library Access (Default: Yes) – Can user view and use Public Library & Assets?
• Private Workspace Enabled (Default: Yes) – Does user have personal work space not visible to other users? – If not enabled, user must work in shared Project(s) – If enabled, private workspace is default location for all workobjects

Project Sharing Enhancements • Auto-Add New Users to Project – Project option to automatically add new users to project – Facilitates “account-wide” shared workobjects

• Sharing Indicator – Clearly identify objects shared with projects – Show which projects template has been shared with

Add & Grow VM Disks (Beta) •
Grow Virtual Machine Disk – VM Disk size can be increased; CANNOT be shrunk – Max Disk Size: 2047GB (~2TB) – For Windows VMs with Basic disk format & 1 partition, partition is auto-resized •
•
For all other cases, user must resize the partitions manually using disk partition utility
Add Disks to Virtual Machine – Can add more disks to a virtual machine – Size: 2GB – 2047GB (~2TB) – Disk created with partition table, but user must partition manually
•
Extensively tested on common OS and disk configurations – Beta since as some possible corner case configs where disk edit may fail
•
Disk Modifications Risky, STRONGLY RECOMMEND: – Cleanly shutdown VMs before disk editing – Create backup snapshot of all VMs being edited
