Your child will go to the library on Monday and Wednesday. They will check out books to take home to read. Please read 25 books with your child and record the title on the reading log located in the M.O.O.S.E folder. The new goal from October 13, 2014 to December 11th, 2014.
In Math we will be… Counting and check marking as we count groups. Writing the numbers 0-9 in rocket math. In Reading we will… this week we will be introducing the word pattern VC(ex. at, us, on, it, is) on the back of this paper, have your child practice reading the word. They can sound and blend the sounds together. Rhyming, counting syllables, listening to beginning sounds and ending sounds. The order of sight word lists go: pink, green, red, yellow, light blue, purple, orange, white, tan. I sent the latest list home in the report card. If you need the current list, please write me a note in your child’s folder.

You are invited to Woodland Wake Up this week. It will begin at 7:55 in the gym on November 12th. We will recite poems and sing songs.
Please save Box-Tops, Campbell Soup labels and empty drink pouches and send to school with your child. We collect these items to earn money for the school! Send to school anytime. Snacks this week (please send enough for 20): 17th-Tipton 18th-Ty 19th-Addyson 20th-Alex 21st-Amsterdam 22nd- Brandon Dec. 1st-Brooklynn
