On October 15th, our entire team along with numerous other Jasper athletes joined in to participate in the American Cancer Society’s Breast Cancer walk in Central Park headed up by our S.A.A.C. It was a great way to show our support and love for those who have been a ected by this disease in any way. We are truly grateful here at Manhattan College to have such a supportive and strong community of student athletes...Jasper Strong to be exact. **Join us Sat, Feb. 10th for our Play 4 Kay game!

Ashley Stec, Class of 2015 What is your favorite memory from being a Manhattan College WBB player? ● My favorite basketball memory has to be the time we beat Loyola in the MAAC Tournament with a buzzer beater by Monica Roeder. What are you doing now? ● I currently work in finance at JPMorgan in Delaware. How has being a Jasper helped you in your life today? ● The athletic experiences it provided along with its high standards of education allowed me to develop a strong work ethic backed with the knowledge i needed to obtain a job. I was a Student‐Athlete after all, not a Athlete‐Student. What was your favorite part of Manhattan College outside of basketball?

The friendships I made there and the fact that we could control the air conditioner in Horan.
What is some advice you would give the current team? ●
For many of you this will be the last time you play basketball at this level and you will be forced into the real world. So pu sh each other to be better. Not just as basketball players but as humans.
