World Baptist Fellowship Mission Office Serving local churches and their missionaries August 2016 Dear Fellow Laborers, This time of the year is very exciting for us here at the Mission Office! We began our 51st Annual Missionary Candidate School on Wednesday, July 27th. This year, we have four new candidates: Todd & Sarah DeWitt, Caleb Fielding, and Joshua McClure. These servants of the Lord are excited about pursuing God’s call upon their lives. Please pray that we can be an encouraging blessing and a help to them. After the conclusion of our Mission Seminar, we will depart for Minnetonka Christian Camp in Clayton, Oklahoma for our Annual Missionary Retreat Camp. Dr. Larry Emery will be preaching on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday night of the camp. Tuesday morning, Missionary Clayton Watkins will be teaching a selfdefense class, and Tuesday afternoon, Mrs. Diane Emery will be speaking to the ladies. We will also have our Mission Committee Meeting during this time in which the committee will meet with the new missionary candidates for possible approval. Please pray that this will be an encouraging time for our mission family and that we will be able to announce to you that we have some new Missionaries as part of the WBF family! We hope you have already made plans to attend the 2016 Fall Meeting of the World Baptist Fellowship to be hosted by Connersville Baptist Temple in Connersville, Indiana, led by Pastor Tim Billups. Pastor Billups and the good folks there are making plans to be a special blessing to our missionaries and to all who attend. The theme of the meeting will be, “Break, Shake, Illuminate.” We will be hearing how God uses the brokenness in our lives to enable us to shine more brightly for him. Also, we will be having our gift card shower for the missionaries during the Fall Meeting. If you would like to contribute to this endeavor, you may send those Gift Cards to the Mission Office directly (by the end of September), or you may send them to: Connersville Baptist Temple, 1380 East State Road 44, Connersville, Indiana 47331. Any donations would be appreciated. We will also be receiving our annual special missionary offering to help with the ongoing operations of the Mission Office. Our goal once again this year is $60,000. God has always been faithful to supply the need, and we trust that He will do so once again this year. Please pray that we would see more churches and individuals support our general fund so that we would not have to depend on such a large offering each year to cover the needs. THANK YOU again for your continued prayers and financial support of WBF Missionaries and our Mission Agency as well. It is a joy and privilege to serve the local church and their missionaries!
