Alternative 2 – Pros and Cons • Pros – Provides greater transit capacity. – Expands public space on Fairfax Drive and N. Stuart  p p p Street.

• Cons – Tight geometric design for curb ramps and  crosswalk at southwest corner of Fairfax Drive and  N Stafford Street N. Stafford Street. – Creates one‐way operation on N. Stuart Street.

Alternative 3 – Pros and Cons • Pros – Provides greater transit capacity. – Expands public space on Fairfax Drive. – Creates designated shuttle and Kiss&Ride operation  zone at the front door of the Metro entrance.

• Cons C – May create greater potential for mid‐block crossing  at N Stuart Street at N. Stuart Street. – Impact on retail frontage on the west side of N.  Stuart Street
