Barcelona United Bowl-A-Thon: Sunday, November 13th, 2016 Where: Rule 3: Located at 650 Windmiller Drive, Pickerington, Ohio 43147 (Official Party and Event Location for Barcelona United) Getting Started with Bowling for Barcelona United: 1. Begin Getting Pledges: Remember you want folks to pledge at least $.05 and up to $1.00 per pin. This will really add up! Example: You get 10 sponsors at $.25 per pin and you knock down a total of 200 pins (100 per game) … then you have raised $500.00. 2. Put together a team: If you want to raise even more pledges get your friends and family involved. This is a great way to make this fundraiser a success. 3. Sign up for a time to bowl on November 13th. The sign up form can be found at http://tiny.cc/bowlingforbarcelona. The event will be held all day on Sunday, November 6th. Time slots are from 11:00am – 1:00pm. If all slots are filled, more slots will be released as needed. We will allow 5 bowlers max per lane. 4. Tips on how to approach people to sponsor you: Make sure you tell people where their money is going (to help offset your annual dues and important much needed capital expenditures for Barcelona United). Show them the Sponsor Pledge Form and explain the Bowl-a-Thon. BE ENTHUSIASTIC! Ask your parents, relatives, neighbors, friends, people your parents work with, teachers, local business owners, etc. 5. What to do when a person decides to pledge: Once someone decides to support you have them fill out the Sponsor Pledge Form. You will keep this form and turn it in at the event. Be sure to keep an accurate record of your pledges on the Sponsor Pledge Form. The Sponsor Pledge Form is what you will utilize to collect the pledged amount from your sponsors.
