This project included complete removal and re-build of the existing Bartholomew aquatic center. The design includes five (5) bodies of water. There is an ADA accessible 4 - lane lap pool with 1 meter diving board with sitting bench and large entry step area. The design also includes a 3’-0” to 4’-0” deep recreation pool with large step area and water walk feature, with the infrastructure for the addition of a future floatable feature. Adjacent to the recreation pool there is a zero entry activity pool that slopes to 2’-6” deep, with ADA ramp, large entry steps, children’s slide, and “sand bar” feature with ground spray water features. The project is complete with 2 large, custom water slides that follow the natural sloping terrain of the site.
