Property Found in a popular and sought-after location to the outskirts of the popular thriving seaside town of Whitstable, is this modern detached five bedroom family home. The property boasts two reception rooms plus a kitchen/breakfast room, utility room and a cloakroom to the ground floor. To the first floor there are five bedrooms and a family bath and shower room plus the master bedroom benefits from an en-suite bathroom. The property is set back from the road with a block-paved driveway providing off street parking leading to an integral garage. The enclosed rear garden has a paved patio and is laid mainly to lawn with well-stocked plant and shrub beds. The property has double glazing and central heating. The town centre is within easy access where you will find a variety of independent shops, bars, restaurants and of course the beach. Whitstable also has a working harbor and a mainline railway station providing a regular service to London.

Our Time Here The property has been in our family since our grandparents bought the original house back in the 1930s. Being a large plot, and needing a couple of houses for our family, we replaced the original building with 3 new builds in around 2003, constructed by a local builder. We sold one, our mother moved in next door and we moved in here in 2004. Our favourite room is probably the large lounge, with two sets of double doors that lead out onto the garden. It's a lovely room that benefits from sunlight throughout the day as the sun rises at the back of the house and gradually makes its way round to the front. The bedrooms are all a good size, and the ones at the front have a sea view. There's lots to like about the location here. It's a private road that only the residents use so it's quiet with no through traffic. The seafront and the high street are just a 10 minute walk away. Whitstable is well known for its many independent shops, and you are close to bus routes as well. The train station is also only a 10-15 minute walk, and all the local amenities and schools close by. So from a location point of view, it's a really great place to be! If you enjoy walking or have a dog there are plenty of places to go walking. There is a nice village green at the end of the road which goes through to the Duncan Downs, a nice hillside with some ancient woodlands that used to be part of Blean Woods. The property has all the trimmings so to speak, all modern comforts, with a large driveway and a good yet manageable sized garden. It's a very spacious family home, with a warm and welcoming feel.
