BECKLY NEWS LETTER Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th March Easter Activities we will be making cards and Easter crafts, practicing baking Hot Cross Buns and Easter Biscuits (on current programme but contact for new bookings)

Week One : All about Space For this week we will be finding out about space, making rockets and a planet mobile. We will be cooking and decorating star biscuits. We will be getting the paints and crafts out to create alien monsters and making some extra special space drinks and eats. Bring your bus pass or fares for trips out Week Two It’s Spring Hopefully the weather will be good so we will be out and about in the Park and Woods, scavenger hunts, den building may be even a picnic, getting the Beckly garden sorted. Bring Wellies and change of clothes Indoors we will be using the nature things we have found for printing, planting seeds and some indoor sports
Saturday 16th April Beckly Marathon We will be holding our own event round Radford Park to help us get more physically active so come prepared to have go and earn a medal Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th April Come to Lunch The Beckly Bistro will be open again for us all to help shopping, preparing and cooking lunch for everyone to share together. £3.00 towards food please no packed lunch needed Saturday 30th April Junk Models It’s Transat Sailing this weekend so we will be designing and making our own model sailing boats out of junk and sailing them on the stream Bring wellies, towel and change of clothes. Bring your bus pass / fare so we can go to Mount Batten to see the boats in the Sound All sessions will include a mix of activities to compliment the themes using all of the resources available at Beckly including our sensory and soft play space. A packed lunch including a drink, Wellies, outdoor clothing suitable for the weather and a change of clothes / personal care supplies will be needed for each session and a rucksack or bag to carry it all in.
