5. Lay out Unit #1, Unit #2’s, and Unit #3’s. Sew middle row Unit #2’s to Unit #1; press toward Unit #1. Sew rows together (press toward center row) to create the Rocky Mountain Puzzle block measuring 6 1⁄2" square.

2. Draw a diagonal line, corner to corner, on the wrong side of (1) E square and place on (1) F square, right sides together; pin in place. Stitch a 1⁄4" seam allowance on each side of drawn line. Cut in half and press pieced squares toward F. Make (10) pieced squares. E
