Respryn Road, Bodmin, PL31 1DQ Location Planning

Bodmin is located in central Cornwall approximately 31 miles west of Plymouth and 68 miles west of Exeter. Bodmin benefits from excellent road communications via the A30 and A38 which are the main trunk roads through Cornwall providing access to St Austell 13 miles, Launceston 21 miles, Liskeard 12 miles and Truro 26 miles. The catchment population is approximately 42,000 people within a 10 mile radius and draws on nearby towns such as Wadebridge, Padstow, Camelford and Lostwithiel.

The previous planning consent granted in 1978 (6/78/0561/00P/BOD/358) permits the retail of DIY products.

In 2008 under reference 2008/01860 there was a resolution by the Local Planning Authority of the time to grant consent for the erection of 66 residential dwellings (31 flats and 31 houses) subject to the signing of a Section 106 Agreement. We are advised by Cornwall Council that the resolution has been ‘disposed of and any new development will have to be dealt with by way of a new planning application which will be considered against current planning policies and site circumstances. Copies of the 1978 consent and the now disposed of resolution to grant consent are available upon request. Interested parties are advised to make their own enquiries to the Local Planning Authority Cornwall Council 0300 1234 151
