Thank you BOMA members for your active participation and sponsorship of our Golf Outing. Again, this year it was a sell out. The beautiful weather and the venue of North Hills Country Club made this a memorable event. Please mark your calendars for next year’s golf outing, scheduled for Monday, July 10, 2017 at North Hills Country Club. On September 13th we will hold our Annual Installation and TOBY Awards program at Bluemound Country Club. Please sign up for this elegant event as we install our new board members and award the coveted Please TOBY join Awards. us on October 12th at the Milwaukee Athletic Club for the State of the Industry luncheon as Steve McGuire, the director of Wisconsin Commercial Real Estate Lending, from US Bank discusses the marketplace. Mark your calendar for our BOMA Holiday Party at Westmoor Country Club on December 6th. As always, this is a sell out and very special evening. Sponsorship opportunities are available. Finally, thank you for electing me to serve as your BOMA Wisconsin President. It has been a sincere pleasure to lead BOMA Wisconsin. I look forward to seeing you at our Installation and TOBY Awards program in September, where we will install our new BOMA President and board for the next year.
President Elects Message By: Maleta Brown I would like to thank the members of BOMA Wisconsin for electing me to service as your 2016-2017 President. I look forward to serving with the newly elected, outstanding group of individuals that will comprise the Board of Directors for BOMA Wisconsin in the coming year. Our goal is to bring our members great programs, relevant education and abundant networking opportunities. To this end, we will be kicking things off with a board orientation and strategic planning session in late August. A few weeks ago, a survey was sent to all members to receive input on the future direction of BOMA Wisconsin. If you have not completed the survey already, please do so. It will only take a few minutes and your responses will assist the volunteer leadership in shaping the direction of the chapter during our strategic planning session. The TOBY (The Office Building of the Year) award judging is in full swing this month. This year the response to the requests for entries was phenomenal! Each category of judging has some of the best buildings in our state entered in the competition. Join us on Tuesday, September 13th at 5:30pm at Bluemound Country club as we announce the TOBY winners for all of the categories, and install the newly elected 2016-2017 officers. Thank you again for your confidence in our board to lead this outstanding organization. We are all excited about the coming year, and look forward to serving you.
