BOONE COUNTY COMMUNITY CORRECTIONS April, 2016

BCCC GIVES BACK On February 29, 2016 staff member Alex Beattie, Ryan Lawson and Michael Nance helped unload a truckload of food at the Caring Center in Lebanon. The food was collected at Traders Point Christian Church. Approximately 1800 pounds of food was donated. BCCC is excited to be able to contribute to such a good cause for our community.

Levels of Supervision On March 21, 2016 the Boone County Community Corrections Advisory Board approved new levels of supervision for both existing and future clients of Boone County Community Corrections. Supervision will be broken down into three levels: Punitive, Developmental and Integration. The levels will give clients the opportunity to earn more privileges for each year that they are under supervision. Multiple factors will be taken into account when moving from one level to the next including instant offense, time on program, risk level, general compliance, case plan compliance, payment compliance and other relative factors. This is a privilege and not all clients will qualify. Supervision changes are set to be rolled out June 1, 2016. Client meetings will be held with current clients in May, 2016. BCCC is very excited to have this tool to reward positive behaviors and compliance in the efforts to incentivize clients to continue to make positive rewarding choices. “Do something today that your future self will thank
