Dear Booster, It is that time again to renew your Booster Club 2016-2017 membership or become a new member. Our membership period is July 1 – June 30. We need your support so that we can continue to provide the kind of support the Athletics Department of Savannah State needs. Membership dollars received during the 2015-2016 academic year was used to provide the following:
$2,500 for all the trophies for the Athletic Banquet 2-$500 W. W. Law Athletic Scholarships. $5,000.00 to the Athletics Department for the athletes’ Summer School in 2015. Support to the Athletics Department by volunteering to handle concessions (i.e., purchase and sell items) for the softball and baseball home games.
Our meetings are held on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in Tiger Arena (Room 1021).We try to keep all meetings to an hour or less because we know your time is valuable. We look forward to your support to help us continue to build our membership base and “Keep the Tiger Spirit Alive!” Enclosed, please find a membership application that you can complete and return.
