Agenda: 1. Opening Prayer – led by Marte Neuemeyer a. Daily Devotion – Matthew 28, a message about serving – Jesus came to serve and our service should not be something that is tacked on, but rather growing ourselves and our relationship with Christ b. Romans 12 2.

Planning Center Overview – Janna Yeakey a. Reminders should come only once per each scheduled Service (on Thursday)

Team Goals and updates a. Inactive Care Team – Met this morning; Current list is consistent and needs to be reviewed by Pastor Milatz; many are adult children of Members; postcards are being sent highlighting Trunk or Treat and School Auction; small list of Delayed Decision (6 ppl.); Special Circumstances list will be reviewed next month, e.g. snow birds b. Visitor Care Team – Tours will be available immediately after service to Visitors – to be performed by J. Yeakey and A. Kraft during the month of October; message will be sent to those currently serving that there is training on 10/15 c. New Member Care Team – 6 families/12 people attending current class; unsure of transfers; prayers for group – adopted children in family, health issues, mixed families, Romanian descendent; Team to attend class on 11/8 and 11/15 will be collecting Spiritual Gifts Ministry; Welcome will be on 11/22; Baptism class attendees, how are we ministering to them?
d. Worship Team – C. Cauley and J. Voelkner working with A. Kraft regarding Emergency Plan for the Church and School; Helping school to remain accredited; Training will be done for those members of the church that are interested as well; Training will occur for 5 separate parts of this plan to all Board Members e. Active Member Care Team – Ministry Fair held on 9/27, “What makes Sunday Morning work?”; People signed up for multiple things – team encouraged by reception of the fair and feedback/sign-ups during follow-up; has been forwarded to Ministry Leaders within 2 weeks; team to follow-up with individuals; New Guest/Member cards have been approved – one side for sign-up and the other for Ministry Opportunities – should be available within next week to 10 days 6.
Miscellaneous Items – a. Ideas regarding a ribbon or pew marker to signify those that would like communion in the pew during service, rather than at the rail b. Wednesday service – BOSC is required to set-up Altar (communion ware set in Sacristy), no Chalice available during service, after service all communion ware is placed back in Sacristy/Refrigerator c. Next Meeting – December 1, 2015 @ 7:00 p.m. d. Suggestion made regarding Bulletin and list of who is serving, requesting that we list those who are serving, rather than those set to serve the following week e. Review of Acolyte procedures
