BuyUKCars™ logo standards
1. Clear-space (AKA isolation area)
Leave a clearspace of at least X on the left and right and at least Y on the top and bottom, as shown in the diagram above. X = the width of the .com “o” Y = the height of the .com “o” DO NOT place any other graphics or text in the clearspace area.
2. Minimum size
The minimum size for reproduction of the logo is: ● In Print: 45mm (wide) ● On screen: 190px (wide) Note: These sizes include the minimum clearspace area. At smaller sizes consider removing the ™ where appropriate.

3. Colour BuyUKCars™ has 3 primary colours of UK Yellow, UK Blue and UK Red and has selected specific colour values for each reproduction process. Additionally BuyUKCars™ uses PANTONE Process Black. When reproducing it’s very important to use the provided SPOT/CMYK & RGB values depending on printing/production process being used. DO NOT use conversions of colours for one process to use for another process (e.g. DO NOT use software tools to convert SPOT to CMYK).

White must be used on the background of the Union Jack to preserve the UK national identity, when printing on coloured stock ensure instructions are relayed to the printer to print this area of white.

4. Type The BuyUKCars™ typeface is Helvetica, a contemporary typeface with good legibility at mall sizes and wide availability on commonly used web browsers*. ● For Print: Always use Helvetica ● For Web*: Set the font attribute to: body {font: 13px/1.5 Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;}

In body copy, BuyUKCars™ is always written sentence case (i.e Uppercase B, UK and C and Lowercase for everything else) and should always feature the ™ mark. NEVER type in all lowercase (i.e. buyukcars) or all UPPERCASE (i.e BUYUKCARS). For emphasis may be written in italics (BuyUKCars™ ) or bold (BuyUKCars™) . *Some browsers use Arial in place of Helvetica. Size may vary according to requirements.
5. Access to Artwork The latest logo artwork and this guideline are available online at http://buyukcars.brandfm.com Access to artwork is free, but you will be required to sign-up, sign-in and request permission (if you have not already) before being able to download.
