From the Tonal - Blue (H), cut: • (1) 6 ½” x WOF strip. Sub-cut strip into (8) 3 ½” x 6 ½” strips. • (3) 3 ½” x WOF strips. Sub-cut strips into (36) 3 ½” squares. From the Medallion - Navy (I), cut: • (2) 6 ½” x WOF strips. Sub-cut strips into (12) 6 ½” squares. From the Tonal - Grey (J), cut: • (3) 6 ½” x WOF strips. Sub-cut strips into (36) 3 ½” x 6 ½” strips. • (31) 3 ½” x WOF strips. Sub-cut strips into (368) 3 ½” squares. • (5) 3 ⅞” x WOF strips. Sub-cut strips into (42) 3 ⅞” squares. From the Sm Triangles - Navy (K), cut: • (17) 1 ½” x WOF strips. Sew the strips together, end to end with diagonal seams, and cut (8) 1 ½” x 84 ½” strips. • (8) 2 ½” x WOF strips for the binding.

From the Medallion - Purple (L), cut: • Cut (1) 6 ½” x WOF strip. Sub-cut strip into (4) 6 ½” From the Viney Floral - Green (A), cut: squares. • (2) 6 ½” x WOF strips. Sub-cut strips into (16) 3 ½” x 6 ½” • Cut (2) 3 ⅞” x WOF strips. Sub-cut the strips into strips. (18) 3 ⅞” squares. • (6) 3 ½” x WOF strips. Sub-cut strips into (72) 3 ½” squares. Sewing Instructions 1. Place (1) 3 ½” Fabric J square on the left side of (1) 3 ½” x 6 ½” fabric A strip, right sides together (Fig. 1). Sew across the diagonal of the square from the upper right corner to the lower left corner (Fig. 1). Flip open the triangle formed and press (Fig. 2). Trim away the excess fabric from behind the triangle, leaving a ¼” seam allowance.

13. Follow Figure 17 and sew (4) JL units, (4) AJA units and (1) C-block together to make (1) Block Two. Repeat to make (9) Block Twos total.

12. Follow Figure 16 and sew (4) JF units, (4) JEJ units and (1) I-block together to make one Block One. Repeat to make (12) Block Ones total.

6. Follow Figure 8 for the seam direction to add a 3 ½” Fabric J square to each of the remaining corners of the 6 ½” Fabric L square to make (1) L-block (Fig. 9).

11. Repeat Step 10 using (18) 3 ⅞” Fabric J squares and (18) 3 ⅞” Fabric L squares to make (36) 3 ½” JL units.

5. Place (1) 3 ½” Fabric J square on the top left corner of (1) 6 ½” Fabric L square, right sides together (Fig. 6). Sew across the diagonal of the smaller square from the upper right corner to the lower left corner (Fig. 6). Flip open the triangle formed and press (Fig. 7). Trim away the excess fabric from behind the triangle ¼” away from the sewn seam.

9. Repeat Steps 5-6 using (9) 6 ½” Fabric C squares and (36) 3 ½” Fabric H squares to make (9) C-blocks (Fig. 11).

10. Place (1) 3 ⅞” Fabric F square on top of (1) 3 ⅞” Fabric J square, right sides together. Draw a line across the diagonal of the top square (Fig. 12). Sew ¼” away from each side of the drawn diagonal line (Fig. 12). Cut the two squares apart on the drawn diagonal line (Fig. 13) to make (2) JF units (Fig. 14). Trim the JF units to measure 3 ½” square. Repeat to make (48) JF units total.

#Laugh Love Quilt Quilt 2 14. Sew (13) assorted flying geese units together, lengthwise, to make (1) strip. Repeat to make a second strip. Sew the strips to the top and bottom of (1) L-block to make (1) L-strip. Sew (1) 1 ½” x 84 ½” Fabric K strip to each side of the L-strip to make (1) sashing row (Fig. 18). Repeat to make (4) sashing rows total.

Quilt Top Assembly (Refer to the Quilt Layout while assembling.) 15. Sew (4) Block Ones and (3) Block Twos together, alternating them, to make (1) column. Repeat to make (3) columns total.

16. Sew the (4) sashing strips and (3) columns together, alternating them, to make the quilt top.

17. Layer and quilt as desired.

18. Sew the (8) 2 ½” x WOF Fabric K strips together, end to end with 45-degree seams, to make the binding. Fold this long strip in half lengthwise with wrong sides together and press.
