Unexpected Blessings
June, 2017
By the time you get this letter, the roof will be done on the church; we reached our goal of finishing the walls and roof in one year! Although we had a slight setback when our block supplier ran out of blocks and their machine broke down, we finally got more blocks and were able to finish. We are so thankful for everyone that has helped us to get this far & we are excited to see what God has in plan for the next year, as we finish the inside. Please pray with us as we start this next phase of the building. God’s blessings sometimes come from such unexpected places. A few months ago, we met a family that is going through the process of adopting a young lady from Grace Children’s Home. Over Spring Break, we had the opportunity to get to know them better. Shortly after, God put it on their hearts to buy us new tires for the church van, which we badly needed. We are so thankful for new friends and new tires on the van! Thank you for your prayers for continued provision for the church, especially in this time of construction. Pablo and Mayra have now finished their second year of Bible school! Pablo was invited on a missions trip to Guadalajara, México, where he is already putting into practice all that he has learned. We are excited for this opportunity for him and we look forward to hearing about his experience when he returns next month. Continue to pray for them as they enjoy a few months off before starting their last year of Bible school. We are getting closer to finalizing the foster care program and receiving the girls in our home. The upstairs bathroom is finished and we are working on a few other details. Our goal is to have the girls in July, after school is out for the summer, so that they can start the new school year with us. Thank you for your prayers as we get closer to finally having Adriana, Yesenia, and Yajaira as part of the family. I, Angela, have started teaching English classes part time. I am teaching at the school that the boys attend, but to the junior high students. It is a learning experience for me, since I have never taught junior high, but I am excited to have the opportunity to get out of the house for a few hours each week. The boys enjoy getting a ride to school several days a week and seeing me at school occasionally. Please pray for me as I take on this new challenge. In Christ,
Daniel, Angela, Jonathan, & Samuel Camacho
