Dear Parent/Carer, I am writing to inform you of St.George’s Academy term dates, Inset Days and Pupil/Parent Review Days. Your child is expected to attend school during all school days including Parent/Pupil Review Days, but not inset days. Failure to achieve 85% attendance will lead to your child being placed on ‘Spotlight’ and you will be fined. There will be a total of five inset days across the academic year, below you will see that there are only four, this is due to the fifth date still being under consultation. Please note that the Academy term dates differ slightly from Birmingham City Council term dates so please be aware of this if you wish to book holidays or appointments.
