CHEERS TO 2016!
A MESSAGE FROM YOUR BOARD DIRECTORS Winter has arrived! We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season. This year management was able to find a vendor to provide winter season light displays at each entrance. The lights will be lit from the end of November to the end of February each year. We hope you find them enjoyable. Above average snowfall is predicted this year, so please keep your sidewalks clear. The town is doing it’s best with plowing, keeping our streets safe. Remember that vehicles must be moved every 72 hours. Be considerate of your neighbors and don’t allow your car to be “plowed in” and thus become an obstacle for plows and other drivers. Please drive with extra care during the winter season. The annual meeting was held in November 2015 and several things were discussed. CVR HOA is very lucky to be financially healthy. This is the result of some cost cutting measures with vendors or finding new vendors in some cases. Management has also done very well for us this year in collecting past due accounts. This is partially due to management adding a fulltime bookkeeper who will be focusing specifically on the HOA’s. Several other items were addressed at the annual meeting including forming a committee to select a color palette that fits both with our covenants of earth tones and addresses current trends for accent colors. Mary Metzger is heading up the committee. If you would like to be a volunteer or have any interest in serving on the committee please contact RE/MAX Country for details. Our financial health allows us a unique opportunity that the board is working on. It was decided in a unanimous vote that the HOA should commit some funds that would be matched by the town. With this matching funds partnership we will apply for a GOCO (Great Outdoors Colorado) grant to help fund pickle ball courts, a playground, shade shelters, bleachers and landscaping in various locations within our parks. The board and town see a high priority need for a bike/walking path connection from Hot Shot Park to Pyramid Drive. This will create a safer route between Hot Shot and the skate park and it will also complete the connection between existing pathways. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to call management, RE/MAX Country at 970.984.9600. Also remember to check out our website at castlevalleyranch.net for a complete list of covenants, helpful information and upcoming events. Warmest Wishes, Carl & Brad
