Dynasty lacrosse brings you one of the world’s best faceoff men Chris Eck to offer our second annual X-Factor face-off clinic. This two hour faceoff clinic is here in the Hudson Valley for its second straight year. Eck's Factor Lacrosse is the premier face-off training program in the game. Come learn from the best and increase your faceoff percentage right away. This clinic is positioned perfectly right before the season starts to give you the optimal chance to impact your team this year. Increase your faceoff knowledge and winning percentage instantly. Chris’s approach begins with breaking down the face-off into a few fundamental steps and then using those fundamental steps as building blocks to then teach the more complicated aspects of facing-off. Remember being the X-factor takes a lot of time, reps and desire. To be successful, you have to turn fundamentals into instincts, through both dry and live practice. Chris Eck: Chris has positioned himself as one of the world’s top lacrosse players in recent years. Through hard work and dedication to his craft Chris has been one of the most successful players in the MLL playing for the Boston Cannons and on Team USA. Chris was an all American Midfielder at Colgate University. He is 3rd all time in faceoff win’s in NCAA History. He was drafted by the Boston Cannon’s out of college where he has played the last two seasons. He was the Warrior Most Improved player in the MLL in 2009 where he finished 2nd in face-off percentage. Chris was named to the Team USA 40 man rosters last summer. He is considered one of the best face-off men in the World.
Clinic Itinerary 1 - Intro 2 - FO Stance 3 - Fundamentals of Facing off overview 3a - First fundamental and dry runs (using the clamp) 3b - Second fundamental and dry runs (using the clamp) 3c - Third fundamental and dry runs (using the clamp) 4 - Combo them all with Dry runs (using the clamp) 5 - Using the 3 fundamentals in the Jump to counter the Clamp 6 - Countering the Jump with the quick rake 7 - Live Face-Offs 8 - King of the Hill (Winner Takes on Chris Eck). 9 - Wrap up, Questions, Final Talk Each participant will receive an X-Factor t-shirt.
