The person speaking is requested to complete a yellow, pre-printed card (provided at the counter in front of Council Chambers) with their name/address and agenda item to be addressed. They are also asked to sit at the table at the place marked “Citizen Testimony” and give their name and city of residence for the audio record. Please notify the Council Assistant if you are unable to sit at the table to give your testimony and wish to have a wireless microphone provided to you. Surplus of Public Utility Property A RESOLUTION authorizing the City of Vancouver’s Director of Public Works to dispose of a diesel generator that was originally acquired for public utility purposes but is now surplus to the needs of the City of Vancouver and authorizing the City’s Director of Public Works to sell such surplus property at auction for fair market value.

Action requested: Adopt a resolution declaring a generator originally acquired for public utility purposes as surplus property and authorizing City staff to sell the generator at auction for fair market value.

AN ORDINANCE relating to the Tanya Gray, Solid Waste Analyst, collection of solid waste, recyclable 487-7163 materials and yard debris, and amending certain sections of VMC 6.12 to increase rates and charges in accordance with current contracts for the coming year; providing for savings, severability and an effective date. 7.

AN ORDINANCE declaring an emergency and continuing a temporary moratorium for the duration of six months upon the acceptance and processing of applications for permits for the development of new structures; the expansion of existing structures; or subdivisions in the Tower Mall area as defined herein; establishing six months as the tentative effective period of this ordinance; and establishing an immediate effective date.
