Classroom Etiquette 1. Please come prepared and arrive on time for your class 2. Please turn your cell phones to silent or vibrate and if you must answer or make a call during class, please step outside. 3. Please keep all side conversations and chit chat to a minimum.
4. If you have a question in regards to the class, please ask the instructor and not your neighbor as your neighbor may not have the correct answer. 5. All beverages must be in a container with a lid
To Be a Tree class supply list: Sewing machine in good working condition Embroidery Unit with 5 x 7 & 8 x 8 hoops All feet and regular sewing accessories that came with your machine Rotary cutter Pins
Seam Gauge Scissors Designs purchased from: WWW.KREATIONSBYKARA.com (To Be a Tree) Downloaded to your USB stick (4GB or smaller) Printed instructions from the down load. 2 yds of fabric for center panel: Cut 1 piece 45” x 45”; one piece 12” x 12”, treat both pieces with Perfect Sew Liquid Stabilizer until stiff. Thread: 2 spools (each 1100 yds) for Ornament, contrasting thread for borders Backing fabric, see PDF instructions for yardage. Chalk or removable marking pen Baby Lock Tear away stabilizer
What to do before arriving to class: Using Perfect Sew stiffen both (45 x 45 & 12 x 12) pieces of fabric Print pdf directions from downloaded file, preferably in color Transfer all designs to your USB Stick Print templates for all ornament designs.
