CLINTON BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB BUDGET AND FINANCE DIRECTOR – JOB DESCRIPTION
Qualifications: Minimum Be able to keep information confidential; Successfully pass a screening, including a background check Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management or closely related field and six (6) years of increasing experience in accounting, at least three (3) years in a supervisory capacity, or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Thorough knowledge of the principles and procedures of accounting Experience using a variety of computer software and learning new programs. Experience with databases required Essential Duties & Performance Responsibilities:
To set up a proposed budget for the Club’s expenditures for the coming year to be Presented at the November meeting for discussion and approval. Will continuously and concisely monitor all budget items and will be consulted on any and all additions to the budget throughout the year. He/She shall serve as the Chairperson of the Annual Audit Committee.
Other Functions Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit. Terms of Employment: One year and may be reappointed. Note: Members of the Board of Directors shall attend a minimum of six (6) Board of Directors meetings and one (1) General Membership meeting during his/her term.
