Highly engaged employees have a positive impact on our ability to meet our goals. We are proud of the results from our annual employee engagement surveys—routinely scoring higher than other high-performing companies in sustainable engagement, diversity and inclusion, leadership, and innovation, among other areas. The phenomenal survey participation rates—about nine out of 10 employees take the survey—demonstrate that our employees care passionately about the company, our policyholders and one another.
Our strength CSAA Insurance Group was founded in 1914. For the past 90 years we’ve had an A or better rating from A.M. Best. Our rating reflects our capital strength, favorable operating earnings and significant market presence, especially in California where we rank among the top carriers. A.M. Best is a respected provider of credit ratings for the insurance industry. Its ratings are widely used by both consumers and business partners to evaluate the strength, stability and safety of financial holdings.

Our national, award-winning employee volunteer program enables our employees to use company-paid time off to participate in more than 400 volunteer projects each year. We also offer employees grants for qualifying volunteer work, including board service.
