The addition of the Xerox iGen 150 will enable Cville Press to economically and productively run short run print jobs. With the addition of the Xerox iGen 150, Cville Press. will be able to get completed jobs out faster which enable a reduction in labor costs. New state of the art imaging technology to meet and exceed Cville Press’s requirement for high end image quality. High resolution VCSEL laser assemblies at 2400 x 2400 DPI with Object Oriented Half Toning and new 210 line screen. This new imaging technology will take the quality of your photos in your applications to a whole new level. More than 50% more productive than other presses in the marketplace. This will enable you to get more work done per shift. For example, 14” x 26” sheets will run at 50 ppm. Carbon Nanotube Fuser technology for longer life more consistent fusing. New software, faster hardware, and refined algorithms all result in substantially reduced cycle up and cycle down times for iGen 150. Rethink Image Quality Right Down to the Smallest Detail With iGen 150, we’ve addressed every aspect of image quality—all the way down to the dot. The iGen 150 uses a new 2400x2400 imaging system with VCSEL technology to deliver more information per square inch. That means improved detail, tighter, more uniform rosettes, and better sharpness. In addition to the existing 160/180/250 lines screens, two new line screens have been created/designed for specific applications. For applications with a mix of pictorials and heavy text, a new 180/250 option utilizing a new technology called Object Oriented Half Toning. This option will render pictorials at a 180 lines screen for optimal smoothness and graininess, but for text, will render these elements at a 250 line screen optimized for sharpness. For applications such as brochure, books, and flyers, customers will have an option that delivers quality photos as well as crisp text.
Image on Paper Alignment just got Really Easy With the new iGen 150 Automated Image-on-Paper technology, manual setups are replaced with a predictable, automated routine. iGen 150 uses our auto density controls’ full width sensor array to adjust the placement of the image on each sheet as well as the position of the paper within the paper path. These easy, automated routines mean more work right—right from the start.
