Please turn in National Honor Society applications and personal statements by Tuesday, February 3 rd. There is a box in Student Services to place your application. Next year’s NHS members will be posted February 12th on the windows outside Student Services. ( T)
Seniors Mattoon High School is hosting a FAFSA completion night at 6:00 p.m. on February 4 th in Room 103. Flyers are available in Student Services so you will know what to bring. ( T)
Students, you not allowed to park in front of the church on Marion. Please note, that if you continue to park there, you may be towed. This is private property. (T, W)
Attention all MHS students! This Thursday at 7:45 in room 109 there will be an FCA meeting. Anyone is welcome and bring a friend. Nathaniel Stoll will be speaking and snacks will be provided. (T, W)
There will be an officers meeting for FCS club today during 7th hour in room 309 and a club meeting Thursday during 7th hour in room 403. Snacks and refreshments will be served and clients from the homeless shelter will be present. Please be on time and know there are no makeup meetings this week. (T, W, Th)
Mattoon Wordsmiths will meet this Wednesday from 3:40-4:30 in room 217. (T, W)
JV and Varsity Scholastic Bowl teams meet in Mr. Gibson's room after school to help set up for tonight's matches.
Students, don’t forget about the 7th hour fitness club trip to the Y on Wednesday. You are to be dismissed at 2:35 and meet at the back gym doors for attendance. (T, W)
NHS will be selling 4 different candy arrangements during lunch. Prices range from 50 cents to $2.00. Buy candy and have your valentine pick it up at lunch on Thursday the 12th. We will send a note first hour for students to pick up their valentine! Write a message and make their day! (T, W, Th, F, M)
