The RAVV is a non-electric operator that thermostatically controls the flow of water through the VMT 2-way valve. The self regulation of temperature control through the RAVV and VMT assembly is primarily used for storage tanks, radiant heating or heat exchanger applications. Features: • Non-electric operation of the valve • 4.5 ft remote sensor bulb • Lockable temperature setting • Ideal for radiant heating applications
The sensor must be installed in a position from horizontal to vertically down. When mounting the sensor in a medium, the sensor should be placed within a sensor pocket (017-4370). The flow temperature must be a minimum 37°F (15°C) higher than the set closing temperature.
The operator shall be a self contained thermostatic controller with a remote sensor. The available remote sensor shall have a 4.5’ capillary tube capable of being inserted within a sensor well or pipe mounted. The thermostatic operator shall be adaptable to a Danfoss 2-way
