Day 2: Distress Paint & Sprays Distress Paint Resist Steps: 1. Apply Distress Paint to craft sheet and roll brayer through it. 2. Roll paint directly on stamp, stamp image, and then clean stamp. 3. Dry painted layer using a heat tool. 4. Apply paint through stencil using an Ink Blending Tool. 5. Dry painted layer using a heat tool. 6. Apply Distress Stain to craft sheet and swipe cardstock through it. 7. Dry inked layer using a heat tool. 8. Ink with Distress Ink using an Ink Blending Tool. 9. Wipe parts of image using a damp paper towel to reveal resist.
Distress Paint Lifting Steps: 1. Cover surface with a layer of Picket Fence Distress Paint; let dry. 2. Apply colored Distress Paint to surface using your finger. 3. While paint is wet, position stencil and wipe using a baby wipe. 4. Let layer dry or dry using a heat tool. 5. Repeat Steps 2-4 to add different color layers.
Distress Stain Rub Resist Steps: 1. Apply Remnant Rubs to surface; quickly rip off sheet to create random images. 2. Spray Distress Stain directly to surface. 3. Blend colors with water. 4. Dry using a heat tool. 5. Splatter with water and blot off excess.
Distress Luminous Mica Steps: 1. Rub several Distress Ink pads on craft sheet. 2. Mist ink pools with water to create color droplets. 3. Press surface into inks and lift. Do not swipe. 4. Dry using a heat tool. 5. Tap surface into remaining ink drops. Dry between each layer. 6. Apply additional color using an Ink Blending Tool, if needed. 7. Lightly mist entire surface with Mica Spray. Dry using a heat tool.
Distress Marker Spritzed Watercolor Steps: 1. Spritz various colors of Distress Markers on watercolor cardstock using a Distress Marker Spritzer. 2. Spray inked surface with water to react the ink. 3. Continue spritzing color. Add more water, if needed. 4. Dry using a heat tool.
