DAY CAMP HIGHLIGHTS

Daemen College Girls Basketball Day Camp

Designed for beginners, intermediate level and high school girls entering grades 4-12, this camp offers instruction and training in the fundamental skills and techniques of passing, dribbling, shooting, screening, individual defense and team defense. Emphasis is placed on individual skill improvement while also teaching team offensive and defensive concepts. Various drills, games and competition will be used to put these techniques into practice. Campers are divided into two or three separate leagues by age and experience as well as skill level, which provides a great learning environment. In a five-day program, campers are exposed to basketball being taught at a high level by Daemen coaches and players. Additionally, campers have the privilege of hearing from several guest speakers throughout the week.

SPECIAL FEATURES

Daemen College sports camps may limit attendance based on several factors, such as age, number of participants and grade level. However, camp attendance at Daemen is never restricted by a camper's skill level or competitive experience.
