Deputy Chief

Captain Gilles Jean has been an active member with the St.Paul Fire Department since 1995. Gilles is married to Rachelle. They have 3 kids, Madsion, Kaitlyn, and Xavier. Gilles works at Zarowny Motors as an Automotive Service Technician. Gilles is only a few courses shy of his 1001 certification. His hobbies include camping, and spending time with his family. When asked why he joined the fire service it was simple, “To give back to the community”. What Gilles enjoys most about the fire service is the camaraderie amongst the fellow firefighters and the thrills of the calls. Gilles favorite apparatus to drive and operate is Tanker 1.
